Twitter just announced a new version of its application. Not only does it offer a new, fresh design but it's also easier to view media content like embedded videos and photos through better integration with content partners.
It also provides some contextual navigation. When you click on a Tweet, Twitter now shows you other tweets by that author or posts relevant to that topic.
The rollout is expected to happen over the next few weeks.
