MarketingProfs recently wrote a blog article that I really like.  The post presents some good survey data about digital marketing and some other good insights.  But what I really like about it is that it highlights the need to integrate social media tools and strategies.

Distraction and lack of focus is the biggest enemy of inbound marketing.  There is so much going on and things are moving so fast that it's easy to get pulled in too many directions and dilute your efforts.  Yet, when done properly social media tools and strategies provide the leverage that we are all looking for in marketing.  Keep the big picture in mind and understand how the pieces fit together and social media can give your marketing efforts a huge boost.
